How to download Spotify lyrics as an LRC file
Paste a Spotify song link
Copy the song link from Spotify (Share → Copy Song Link) and paste it above. Only the track ID is read from the link.
We match the exact recording
We look up the song’s title, artist and length, then search LRCLIB for time-synced lyrics and accept a match only if the title, artist, version (live, remix…) and length (±2 s) all agree.
Preview, adjust, download
Check the timing in the live preview, fix lines or shift everything with an offset, then download “Artist - Title.lrc”. The file is created in your browser.
Why use LRC Maker
Real time-synced lyrics
Every line keeps its timestamp, written as [mm:ss.xxx] (or [mm:ss.xx] if your player prefers it).
Exact-recording matching
Live versions, remixes, sped-up edits and remasters are kept apart, so lyrics don’t drift out of sync.
Every language
Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, emoji — lyrics are saved exactly as written, in UTF-8.
Built-in editor
Fix a line, delete one, or move every timestamp earlier or later with a global offset.
LRC, TXT and JSON
Download a standard .lrc file, plain text, or structured JSON — or copy the LRC text.
Free and private
No sign-up and no lyrics history. Files are generated in your browser.
LRC files work in music players such as MusicBee, Poweramp, foobar2000 (with a lyrics plugin), AIMP and many car stereos and portable players. New to the format? Read the LRC file guide, or turn lyrics you already have into LRC with the JSON to LRC converter.
Frequently asked questions
Is LRC Maker free?
Yes. LRC Maker is free to use, needs no account and is supported by advertising.
Where do the lyrics come from?
Synced lyrics come from LRCLIB, a community-maintained database of time-synced lyrics. The Spotify link is only used to identify which song and which recording you want.
Is LRC Maker affiliated with Spotify?
No. LRC Maker is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Spotify AB. Spotify is a trademark of Spotify AB.
Why do you sometimes ask for the artist and song length?
Many songs share a title, and one song often exists in several versions with different timings. When those details can’t be read automatically, we ask you rather than guess, because a wrong match gives lyrics that drift out of sync.
It says no synced lyrics were found. What can I do?
Not every song has synced lyrics yet, especially new or regional releases. You can contribute synced lyrics to LRCLIB, or convert synced lyrics you already have with the JSON to LRC converter.
What is an LRC file and how do I use it?
An LRC file is a plain-text lyrics file where each line starts with a timestamp such as [01:12.367]. Save it next to the song with the same file name (for example “Artist - Title.mp3” and “Artist - Title.lrc”) and a compatible player shows the right line as the song plays.
The lyrics are slightly early or late. Can I fix that?
Yes. Use the timing offset to show every line earlier or later, or edit individual timestamps before downloading.
Do you store my lyrics or search history?
No. There are no accounts. A lookup result is kept in server memory for at most 10 minutes so your browser can collect it, then deleted, and files are created in your browser. See the privacy policy for details.
Can I use the lyrics however I like?
No. Lyrics are protected by copyright. Use LRC Maker only for personal backups and only for content you have the legal right to copy, and don’t republish the files.
Are Japanese, Korean and Chinese lyrics supported?
Yes. Every script is kept exactly as written and saved as UTF-8. If an old player shows garbled characters, enable the UTF-8 BOM option before downloading.
